The Rural Ramble
The Rural Ramble Argyll.
Friday 27th February | 9:00am – 1:00pm
Argyll Cricket Club | Home of the Argyll Angels
Join us for our next Rural Ramble, a relaxed and inspiring morning designed to connect, empower, and nourish women in rural communities.
We’ll begin with a guided farm walk, allowing plenty of time to network, share stories, and soak up the stunning rural scenery.
Following the walk, we are honoured to welcome Brie Sergent from Kiahaumaru, who will speak about her work in personal safety and why this kaupapa is so vital, particularly in Aotearoa New Zealand where domestic violence remains a significant issue. Brie’s talk will be followed by an interactive workplace self-defence session, offering practical tools and confidence-building strategies that can be applied in everyday life.
You’ll be beautifully nourished throughout the morning with Kate DeLautour’s incredible food, including fresh salads and morning tea.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to pick Jen’s brain about lifestyle medicine, with practical insights into optimising your own health and wellbeing in a way that fits rural life.
The Rural Ramble is all about facilitating connection, learning, and opportunity for women in rural communities , creating space to grow stronger together.
✨ Fundraiser for Kiahaumaru
This event is also a partial fundraiser for Kiahaumaru. A portion of every ticket sale goes directly to Brie’s work, and you’ll also have the option to add an additional donation at checkout. Funds raised will be used to facilitate workshops in schools and other places of need, supporting safer communities across Aotearoa.
We’d love to have you join us for a meaningful, empowering, and genuinely uplifting morning.
Tickets $49 inclusive GST
With thanks to Argyll Cricket Club, D&T Butler and Property Brokers CHB for making this event possible.
